Hati is a small irregular moon orbiting around Saturn. It has a retrograde orbit and was probably a captured object. It is named after a giant wolf in Norse mythology who pursues the Moon chariot.
The vase was coiled by hand and fired up to 1240C. Hati is made with a black clay and glazed with my lava glaze.
The vase is functional and measures 12 cm in height and around 7 cm in diameter at its middle (largest) point.
All the glazes are formulated and made by me.
Certificate of authenticity will be provided.
This vase is part of the 274 Moons / 274 Vases projects. I am building a vase for each of the 274 moons orbiting Saturn.
